Terms of service

Free website previews

• A free preview is a first version of a new website that we build so you can see where it's going. It costs nothing and you're under no obligation to buy anything.
• We take on a limited number of previews each month, and we may decline a request.
• The preview, its design and its code belong to us until you start a plan or buy a website. You can look at it, but you can't copy it, publish it or have someone else rebuild it.

Monthly plans

• Your first month is prorated from the day you sign up to the end of that month. After that, plans are billed on the 1st of every month, in advance. There's no setup fee and no long-term contract.
• You can cancel anytime by emailing or calling us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for. We don't refund partial months.
• What's included in each plan is listed on our pricing page. Work outside that scope is quoted separately and only done with your approval.
• If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 7 days, we may pause work until it is.

Who owns what

• Your domain, your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your lead history and any content you give us are always yours, including if you leave.
• The website we build for you becomes fully yours after three full months on a plan. Your prorated first month doesn't count toward the three. If you cancel before then, the design and code stay with us.
• Once the website is yours, we'll help you move it if you leave. If the move needs more than a reasonable amount of our time, we'll quote it first.

What we need from you

• Access to your Google Business Profile, domain and any accounts we need to do the work.
• Photos, information and answers to our questions when we ask for them.
• Permission to ask your customers for reviews.
• You confirm that anything you give us (photos, logos, text) is yours to use or that you have permission to use it.

Delays on your side can delay the work. We'll always tell you what we're waiting on.

Results

We do the work every month and show you what it's bringing in. We can't promise a specific ranking, a number of calls or leads, a spot in AI answers, or results by a certain date. Search engines and AI tools decide those things, not us.

Call and form tracking

To show you where your leads come from, we track phone calls and form submissions from your website and Google listing, and we send you a branded report of them at the end of every month.

• Right now we track calls and forms with event tracking in Google's tools (for example Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager). This records things like when someone taps your phone number or submits a form, and where they came from.
• We may also use a call tracking provider such as Nimbata. If we do, we'll let you know first. Call tracking places tracking phone numbers on your website and Google listing that forward to your real number, and records details like the time, length and source of each call and the caller's number.
• We will not turn on call recording without your written approval. If recording is turned on, you're responsible for making sure callers are told, as required by law.
• Tracking data belongs to you and is covered by our Privacy policy.

Reviews

Our Review Engine asks your customers for reviews by email and text. We ask every customer, not only the happy ones, and we never offer anything in exchange for a review, so your requests follow Google's review policies. We may suggest replies to reviews, but you decide what gets posted.

Standalone websites and care plans

Websites built on their own have a flat price agreed in writing before we start. Care plans are month to month and can be canceled anytime, effective at the end of the paid month. The website is yours once the build is paid in full.

Hosting and your annual design refresh

While you're on a plan, we host and maintain your website. After each 12 months of continuous service, we'll restyle your site once at no extra cost.

Limits on our liability

We're not responsible for outages or changes caused by search engines, AI tools, hosting providers or other services outside our control. If something goes wrong and you make a claim against us, the most we'll owe is the total you paid us in the three months before the claim. This is separate from refunds, which are covered under Monthly plans.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and let current clients know by email before the change takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
